Doris Sumner Andre

ANDRE, DORIS SUMNER Of Albuquerque, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. She was born in Mt. Clemens, MI in 1932. Doris is survived by James Andre M.D., her husband of 64 years; two daughters and sons in law, Linda and Owen Wells of Wisconsin, and Paige and Dennis Hudson of Florida. She is also survived by three brothers, Elmer "Al" Sumner of Texas, Benjamin Sumner of Georgia, Elger Sumner of Michigan; a sister, Elner Green of Alabama; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Rene' James Andre in 1979, and her grandson, Christopher James Andre Hudson in 2003. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH-Lomas. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH-Lomas with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Flowers are nice, but donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Heart Association, if desired.
