Donna Kay (Kutch) Nicolaides

Donna Kay Nicolaides (née Kutch), age 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born May 6, 1940 in Walla Walla, WA, but spent her childhood in Coos Bay, OR. Donna graduated Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, OR and loved to return home frequently to attend reunions and catch up with her high school friends and relatives. Donna was a strong, independent woman who survived cancer at the age of 32, and secondary cancer a few years later. She worked as an office manager in a dental office for many years in Scottsdale, AZ before retiring and moving to Albuquerque, NM in 2018 to be closer to family. Donna loved to dance the Jitterbug with her brother, Don in their younger days, and enjoyed hiking, walking and travel.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mary “Lucille” Kutch (née Miller); and her twin brother, Donald Kutch, his wife Jan, and their children, Janine and Darin. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Norris, in Bend, OR, and nieces and nephews. Donna is also survived by her three sons, Scott Melvin Anderson and his wife, Jennifer and their children in Rigby, ID, Randy Jon Anderson and his wife, Kay and their children in Ogden, UT and John L. Nicolaides and his wife, Lissie and their daughter in Albuquerque, NM.

She was a kind, generous, and loving petite woman. Her family and friends will miss her bright blue eyes that sparkled with mischief, her brilliant smile and fun-loving character.
