Donna McNease, 68, beloved wife, mother and grammy, was called to her eternal resting place on Tuesday, March 7, 2023. She entered this world on Monday, May 10, 1954 in San Angelo, TX, born to Donald Ray Baker and Ruby Juanita Barnett. She is survived by her husband, Rodney McNease; daughters Sandra Stewart and Alexandra McNease; son-in-law, Daniel Stewart; grandchildren: Madison Stewart, Tyler Stewart and Abigail Stewart; brother, Steve Baker and her beloved three dogs Malichi, Sydney, and Dayzee.
Donna graduated from Angelo State University and later worked as an accountant in the dairy industry for over 30 years from the 1980's to 2013. She had a passion for animals and wildlife. She traveled to Europe and across the United States during her lifetime. In her retired years, she remained busy with several activities which included family, puzzles, bird watching and knitting.
Donna was a dedicated family member and always tended to those in need. It was her family that meant the most to Donna. She adored her husband, daughters and grandchildren. She prioritized being present at the many activities, life events, performances, graduations and sporting events which took place over the years. She was a pillar of strength and steadying force in the storms of life. Those who loved her knew they would have her full and undivided attention when they needed it. She had a presence that will forever be remembered in the hearts and minds of her friends and family.
The family request in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to UNM Children's Hospital or UNM Psychiatric Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 17, at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH-Wyoming.
