Donna Lee McCollom

Donna Lee McCollom was welcomed in to the arms of the Lord on September 17, 2013. Donna was born in Swan Creek, Illinois on August 16, 1929 and moved to Albuquerque in 1972. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Arnold (Mac) McCollom and grandson, Eric McCollom; her parents and two sisters. She is survived by her five children, Cassie (Bill) Kelley, Arnold (Candace) McCollom II, LaDonna (Dave) Fountain, Sherre (Randy) Dickson and Laura Enriquez. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; three great- great grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters and Mac's "little sister" Nonie and her husband, George Mason. Donna, along with her husband, Mac, owned the Lomas Tastee Freez for 20 years. She also retired from Albuquerque Public Schools. Donna was a proud lifetime member of Eastern Star Trinity Chapter. She leaves a legacy of her beautiful smile and generous love to all. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candalaria N.E. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
