Donna Rideout Farmer

Farmer, Donna Rideout Donna Rideout Farmer took her last breath on earth and her first breath in heaven on Sunday, April 12, 2015. She passed peacefully at home the day after her 83rd birthday. She was born on April 11, 1932 in Boston, Massachusetts and then moved to Albuquerque in 1945. She was very active in the church, lovingly serving the community and touching many lives. She made over 1,000 blankets for the firemen and policemen to give to children they rescued. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Rideout; father, Joseph Rideout and brother, Joseph Hector Rideout. She is survived by her husband, Alvin Farmer; children, Nancy Walthall, Denise Canard and husband, Roger, Lynn Carl and husband, Scott, Kenneth Farmer and wife, Sara and Jane Farmer; grandchildren, Ceonna Messing, LaSella Walthall, Stephanie Carl, and Bryce Patterson. Rosary will be recited Friday, April 17, 2015, 10:30 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas and Tennessee. Interment will follow the services at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Our Lady of the Assumption St. Vincent De Paul Society, 811 Guaymas Pl. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
