Donna Brown, age 62, dedicated wife, mother, and nurse, passed away December 4, 2015. Donna was known for her joy in everything she did. Her favorite motto was "What Ever You Do Make It Fun!". Nursing, sewing, traveling, painting, going to the movies, and helping others is what she lived for.
She is survived by her husband, David Brown; her daughter, Reanna Servatt (spouse Michael); son, Garrett Gatewood (spouse Melanie); and her grandson, Siah. She also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Also touching Donna's life were her aunts, Evelyn Edwards and Bernice Egbert; brothers, Lynn and Don Briggs; sister, Ruth Johnson; and members of the Brown family, Louisa, Jacque, Donna & Frank, Curtis and Lucy. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Verol Briggs and Gladys Edwards.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
