Donna J. (Adams) Brooks

Donna J. Brooks, age 84, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 9, 2014. She is survived by her children, Sharon Heger, Kim Brooks and wife Chris, Linda Edwards and husband Andell and Jim Brooks and wife Vicki; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother, Royce and wife Dee; and sisters, Shirley Harriman and Bettie Williams. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Dale "Bill" Brooks. Donna was a gentle and kind person and always thinking others before herself. She enjoyed camping, hiking, sailing, biking and needle crafts. Services will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary of Albuquerque, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE. Friends may visit FRENCH - Wyoming on Wednesday August 13, 2014 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Interment will take place Friday, August 15, 2014, 3:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
