Glenn, Yang Dong Mook, 42, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in the presence of beloved family and friends. Dong was born is Seoul, South Korea. He is survived by his loving wife, Pearlene Hawkins; adoptive father Larry Glenn; and innumerable friends who experienced his kindness and selfless nature. His dedication to professionalism and his work ethic were evident in the respect of his colleagues. Dong loved a good (or even bad) game of golf. Dong was touched by all who shared their heart with him and was thankful for the outpouring of support. He will be deeply missed. The University of New Mexico is hosting a celebration of Dong's life at the University Chapel from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26th. A public viewing will be held at French-Lomas on Wednesday, June 27th from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. A funeral service followed by cremation will be held on Thursday, June 28th at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery located at 924 Menaul Blvd. NE from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or The University of New Mexico Children's Hospital.
