Donald G. Weidner
August 11, 1929 — March 5, 2017
Donald G. Weidner, 87, passed away after a painful battle with cancer. He was born in Wheeling, Ill, and was a resident of Rio Rancho, NM. Donald is survived by his wife of 30 years, Patricia. His extended family consists of many children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Don was a retired independent long haul trucker, tour bus driver and school bus driver. His passions were gardening, woodcrafts, Harleys and his service to the church.
A Rosary will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Interment will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, following the services.
The family asks in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, www.stanm.org.
