Donald Lee Pobanz

Donald Pobanz, 70, of Los Lunas, New Mexico died of a heart attack in his home on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

Don is survived by his partner of 30 years, Janice; daughters, Kathy Boelter (Jim), Andrea Pobanz; son Dale Marrs; sister, Diana Nelson (Dale); brothers, David (Barb) Pobanz, Dale (Suzie) Pobanz; and loving granddaughter, Gwendolyn.

Don was a friend to everyone and knew how to laugh and make others smile. Don loved sports and cars. He spent his free time watching various sports live and on TV and knew stats on everything from auto racing to baseball to boxing to hockey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. At FRENCH - University, 1111 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Don will be laid to rest at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019.
