Donald Anthony Perkins

Donald Anthony Perkins, Great-Grandfather, Grandfather, Father, Brother, and Son born March 4, 1938, in Waterloo, IA to Claude and Jo Willie Perkins, passed away on June 9, 2022. He is survived by his children, Donald Anthony Perkins II (Kristin), Karen G. Walter (Robert), Randall Perkins (Laurel), and Judy Wykoff; grandchildren, Anthony Perkins (Janessa), Leah Parker (Ken), Joshua Perkins (Megan), Cederro Perkins, Tawny Perkins, Zachary Walter (Rebecca), Maxwell Walter (Amanda), Trevor Perkins, Abigail Perkins, Emily Mora (Kory), and Wyatt Wykoff; great-grandchildren, Imani, Trey, Raya, Princess, Judah, Jonah, Jaden, Wren, and Story; sister, Beverly Cook; brother, Bill Perkins (Rose); stepdaughter, Trisha Franz (Marvin); his first wife and mother of his children, Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Don was preceded in death by son, Michael; siblings, Claude, Dorothy, Gwen, Paul, and Ronnie; great-grandson, Judah; and second wife, Linda.

Don was a devoted family man and active member of the Albuquerque community. He will be remembered for his many accomplishments as an athlete and actor, and is also retired from The State of New Mexico and City of Albuquerque. Don touched the lives of many and will be long remembered.

A private family service will be held.
