Donald Lee Miller went to his eternal home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023. Donald was born on December 14, 1943, in Pikeville, TN. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, and he will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his father Kermit Miller and his mother, Thelma Mae Miller.
Donald is survived by his wife, Dolores, son Travis Miller, daughters Rhonda McNeil (Steve), and Linda Hill (Chris); grandchildren Amber Garcia, Felicia Wilson, Ryan Hill (Jill), Natalie Tassi (Noah), and Aaron Miller; great grandchildren Amellia Wilson and Wade Wilson; his sisters Linda Sutherland (Scotty) and Nancy Lewis (Ed) and brothers Randall "Pete" Miller (Ellen) and Eric Miller (LuAnn).
He is also survived by his stepchildren: Phillip Pacheco (Julie), Mark Pacheco (Michelle), Matthew Pacheco (Angela); and step-grandchildren Adam Pacheco, Andrew Pacheco, Sam Pacheco, Alexis Pacheco, Mark Pacheco, Adam Mascarenas (Melanie), Christopher Parra, and great-granddaughter Bella.
Donald's father was in the military, so they moved around a lot. Donald went to grade school in Belen and Albuquerque; attended junior high school in Lawton, OK, and Albuquerque, and graduated from Sandia High School in Albuquerque in 1961. He worked at the Volunteer Army Ammunition Plant in Chattanooga, TN, in the late 60s and early 70s. He retired from General Technology Corporation in Albuquerque, NM in November 2005.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 19, 2024, 11:00 AM at Calvary Church
Westside, 6051 Winter Haven Road NW (Coors & Montano). Pastor Todd Patton will officiate.
