Donald L. Hoffner

Donald L. Hoffner, 84, father, uncle, friend and mentor passed away on June 12, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Shelton; nieces, Linda Heyer and Carol Martin and husband, Gary; nephew, Gary Ruhling; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and extended family members. Donald was born in Dongola, IL in July of 1932. He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following his service he relocated to New Mexico, first Deming then Albuquerque where he lived out the rest of his years as a proud New Mexican. Friends may visit FRENCH-University from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Graveside services will follow at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Santa Fe, NM 87501.
