Dominic Perea

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we announce the passing of Dominic Perea, who was born on November 30, 1992, and left us on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Dominic called Albuquerque, New Mexico his home, spreading laughter and joy to everyone he encountered. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Reyna Perea; grandfather, Eppie Perea; and uncle, Gilbert Perea. He is survived by his father, Kristopher Perea; mother, Christine Perea; brother, Adam Perea and Celeste; grandmother, Jean Trujillo; grandfather, Raymond Trujillo; uncles, Brian Trujillo and Don; Raymond Trujillo and Trish; and Patrick Perea and Lori; aunts, Karen Perea; Jeanette Perea and Charlie; cousins, Justine McDaniel, Monika Sanchez and Jared, Melissa Mann, Michelle Mann, Michael Trujillo and Bjorn Trujillo.

You could always count on Dominic to bring a smile to your face, brightening the room with his infectious laughter and vibrant personality. Whether he was cracking jokes, playing pranks, or simply lending a listening ear, Dominic had a unique ability to uplift those around him.

Known for his adventurous spirit, Dominic had a zest for life that was truly contagious. He was always exploring the great outdoors, embarking on hiking trips and seeking out the most beautiful landscapes. Dominic's love for nature was matched only by his love for those around him.

He had an unmatched ability to bring people together and ensuring that everyone felt included and appreciated. Dominic cherished his loved ones deeply and was known for going above and beyond to make their lives better in any way he could.

Aside from his magnetic personality, Dominic was a true talent for listening. His charismatic personality and genuine heart were unmatched. No matter the occasion, Dominic could always be found uplifting those around him, effortlessly bringing joy and laughter to all those nearby.

We will forever hold Dominic's infectious laughter, warm-hearted spirit, and incredible zest for life in our hearts. Though his time with us was far too short, we are grateful for the memories we shared, and the impact he made on our lives.

As we bid farewell to Dominic, let us remember to honor his spirit by living life to the fullest, cherishing our loved ones, and spreading joy wherever we go. May he rest in eternal peace, his soul set free to explore.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 25th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., FRENCH - Westside.
