Dolores J. (Bickler) Sullivan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 18, 2022, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was raised on Volk and Bickler Farms in Rugby, North Dakota, and married Minoter Lt. Col. William W. Sullivan, who preceded her in death and followed him on his USAF assignments around the world. Her favorite trips were to Rome, where she had an audience with the Pope; Lourdes, France; and Medjugorje, Slovenia. She was the daughter of Joseph Bickler and Josephine (Volk) Bickler, and is survived by sisters, Phyllis Hoffman, Donna Lou Smith, and Charlotte Blessum; her sister, Leota Dalthorp; and brother, Melvin Bickler preceded her in death. She is also survived by sons, Patrick, Martin, and James; daughter, Maureen Cotter; and daughter-in-law Phyllis Sullivan, widow of son Shawn. She has fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She will be interred in Santa Fe National Cemetery beside her beloved husband Bill.
