Dolores Aragon Garcia

Dolores A. Garcia, born March 12, 1932 in Maxwell, New Mexico went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 3, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Sabino Aragon; mother, Annie Trujillo Aragon; sister, Mary Ellen Smith; brother, Mell T. Aragon and husband, Gilbert Garcia; sons, Christopher J. Garcia, Adolph J. Garcia, Martin J. Garcia; and grandson, Christopher Jacob Garcia.

She is survived by her son, Joseph . L. Watkins and wife Dawn from Marshall, Michigan; daughter, Wilma Ann Watkins-Garcia from Tijeras, NM; son, J.B. Garcia of San Luis, Colorado; son, J. Vincent Garcia of Albuquerque, NM; sister, Virginia Martinez Bonin of Raton, NM; "Ahijada" Vicky New and husband, Jim New; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and nieces and nephews.

In her own words, she wrote:  Grieve not when I have gone but think of wonderful days I was allowed to stay, to be with my family and other loved ones and friends.  Many thanks to you who gave me courage to go on when the mountain seemed to high and I did not feel strong.  I know I often made mistakes, but please know that I loved each of you with all my heart, Remember only happy times before we had to part.  To all of you.  I love you.  I'm on my way to "Sentimental journey".  Go in Peace rest in the arms of Jesus... Mom.
