Dolores M. (Salvo) Farquer

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Dolores Farquer, passed away suddenly, peacefully, and surrounded by family on September 5, 2017. She was a loving and generous family matriarch who spent her childhood in Dawson, Madrid, Raton, and Wagon Mound, NM. She raised her family in Bountiful, UT, and spent the last several decades with family in Albuquerque, NM. She volunteered over 2,500 hours at the Lovelace Women’s Hospital over the past ten years. She was a loving friend, active community member, and dedicated member of her church. She was devoted to God and to her family. She will be missed by all the lives she touched. She is survived by three children, Lovina Merkey and husband, Bob, Michael Farquer and wife, Gaelynne, and Julie Power and husband, Jamie; sister, Annie Weybrew and husband, Steve; brother, Sam Salvo; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved extended family members. There will be a family gathering on September 23, 2017.
