Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Dolores Campos, 77, of Cedar Crest, NM.; passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
Dolores "Dodo" Flores Campos was born March 31, 1944, in Puerto de Luna, N.M., to Eliverto (Libby) Flores and Equiteria (Katy Espinoza) Flores. After leaving the store, she worked as an administrative assistant for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) until her retirement.
Dolores was rarely seen without a Sonic drink cup beside her and enjoyed spending time among the lilies in her garden. Later in life, her hobbies included playing Mahjong and Solitare on the computer and making jewelry and rosaries. She also loved visits with her grandchildren, to whom she was affectionately known as "Nani."
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings; Erminio Flores, Elvira Segura, Patricia Ortiz, Antonia Martinez, Dora Sanchez and an infant brother.
In addition to her husband, Eduardo, Dolores is survived by her children, Denise Kauyedauty of Albuquerque, Roxanne Campos of Sandia Park, and Rodney Campos of Houston, Texas; grandchildren; Nicole Glaze, Brandon Kauyedauty and Kyle Kauyedauty, all of Albuquerque, Richard Glaze of Sandia Park, and Amanda (Emiliano) Prado, of Apple Valley, Calif.; two great-grandchildren; Ava and Mikayla Prado; sisters, Ramona (Kevin) Pickles of Arizona, Faby (Gilbert) Gomez of Santa Rosa, NM., Julia-Teri Cordova of Rio Rancho, NM., Evelyn Marquez of Albuquerque, and Marianne (Bill) Ware of Wichita Falls, Kan.; and brother, Danny (Mabel) Flores of Santa Rosa, NM.
