Dolly (Juanita) P. Gay

Dolly (Juanita) P. Gay, 75, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was called to her enteral home on March 17, 2018 in Albuquerque. She is survived by children; Connie Nicolai from Atlanta, Georigia and Rebecca Carmody from Albuquerque; grandchildren, Dillon and Dalton Nicolai from Atlanta, Georgia, Tim and Eileen Howard from Seminole, Texas and Jason and Mayra Slavin from Albuquerque; sisters and brothers, Raymond and Ellen Lopez, Jerry and Patricia Cline, Bill and Francis Martinez, Linda Montoya, and Robert Montoya; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Shane and Grace Howard, Joshua, Victoria, Dylan, and Sofia Slavin. Dolly (Juanita) Gay was preceded in death by her father, Augustine Baca Jr.; mother, Josephine VanDamme; Daughter, Jennifer D.J. Gay, and brothers, William Baca and Joe Baca.

Dolly was a life-long member of Risen Savior Catholic Church. She was a caring, loving, and devoted mother and housewife. Dolly was also a generous woman who always gave to those in need.

Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 27, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Church, 7701 Wyoming Blvd., Albuquerque with Father Tom Noesen, Celebrant. Interment will follow on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Connie Nicolai.
