Dinah Lynn Tolentino, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 after a two year battle with cancer. She was born on August 6, 1957 in Rolling Fork Mississippi to Maxine and Boyd Tallada. She is survived by her mother, Maxine; father, Boyd Tallada of Albuquerque NM; husband of 16 years, Errol Tolentino of Albuquerque NM; and two sons, Josh, and Chris Gurule and one adopted daughter, Jessica Lynn. She was preceded in death by son, Josh in 2016. Dinah is also survived by her brother, Terry Tallada of Pecos, NM; daughter in-law, Jessica Gurule, grandson, Aiden, Jo Jo and granddaughter, Nevaeh.
Dinah was born in Rolling Fork Mississippi and raised in Perkasie, PA. Dinah received her LPN in 1976 from Mercy Medical Center and went on to receive her Associates of Science Degree in nursing from Central New Mexico Community College in 2007.
Dinah moved to Albuquerque NM in 1977, where she worked for St. Joseph Hospital. After a six year stint she then worked for Lovelace Hospital for 18 years and Presbyterian Hospital for 10 years . Dinah enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Her garden was a pastime she loved.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, October 13, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at Copper Pointe Church, 10500 Copper Ave, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87123.
