As you read this, I re-join my late parents, Frank and Ida Sei, and all of my aunts and uncles who brought such joy to my life. A proud native of Albuquerque, I was born December 14, 1947, the oldest of four siblings, and passed away August 11, 2015. I attended Our Lady of Fatima and graduated from St. Pius High School. Although I will just miss my 50th reunion, I wish my class a fantastic celebration. Married to fellow alumnus Roger DeAngelis in 1968, we went on to create a thriving family and business together and have been blessed with wonderful friends. Above all, I have cherished my place at the heart of one of the greatest Italian families in the city, with endless laughter and fun over Sunday pasta dinners. As hard as it is to leave behind my daughters Nicole DeAngelis (Josh King) and Emilie DeAngelis (Bert Davenport) and grandchildren Kelli and Haedi DeAngelis, and Alexander Davenport, I know that I taught them well and that they will carry my spirit into their own families. I will also dearly miss my husband Roger; my sisters JeannAC. Sei and Catherine Runnels (Pierce), and brother Michael Sei (Ann); loving aunt Mary Vaio; mother-in-law Penny DeAngelis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 15, 2015, 10:30 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with ennichement to follow.
