Diane Marie Schuler

Diane Marie Schuler, 62, beloved wife and sister, was called to her eternal resting place on March 17, 2017. She entered this world on June 29, 1954 in Monroe, WI, born to Bobbie and Evelyn Schuler, both deceased. She is survived by her husband, Craig Gibbs (1992); and dear sister, Rebecca Feldt (Scott Feldt).
A graduate of Monroe High School in 1972, she began her career at Wisconsin Power and Light, in her parents' footsteps, as a Jr. Clerk. While advancing to new positions within the company, she obtained her B.S. Business from Edgewood College, Madison, WI, in 1991 and Executive M.B.A., University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2004. Currently Alliant Energy, she culminated her career as Director-Energy Delivery Resources and retired in 2014 after 41 years of service. In April 2014, she and her husband relocated to their present address in Placitas, NM. Diane adored her kitties and throughout her life supported many animal shelters, particularly Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (UT) where she volunteered numerous times. She was a docent and friend at the Coronado Historic Site (Bernalillo, NM) and active with Jardineros de Placitas while on committee for community service. She tirelessly participated as a volunteer at the Placitas Community Library while serving on its board. Her last venture was as a DJ hosting the "All Things 70s Show" at KUPR 99.9FM radio station, Placitas.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Jardineros de Placitas, P.O. Box 704, Placitas, NM 87043 or KUPR, PO Box 888, Placitas, NM 87043.
