Diane Cox, our loving and beautiful daughter, passed away November 1, 2022, after a long illness. She was born August 14, 1969, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she grew up and graduated from Manzano High School. She worked in healthcare and rehabilitation for 27 years before retiring in 2019.
She was a music and movie enthusiast with an extensive library and knowledge, ZZ Top remaining at the top of her list. She loved her blue jeans, burgers, and the Cowboys. She definitely was one of the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," best known for her beautiful smile and thumbs up. She loved family. She loved life. She lived with courage and optimism. Her kindness and loving presence will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Santilli, and her cousin, Jorden Warner. She is survived by her father and stepmother, Dennis and Anne Cox, stepfather Joe Santilli, stepbrother Brad Reynolds, and stepsister Christi Reynolds. She is also survived by her aunts Sandra Cox and Debra Spencer (Clarence Spencer), uncles Jim Jackson (Cathy Jackson) and Ray Hunter, great-uncle Bill Kitchens (Fay Kitchens), and cousins Charman Hunter, Denise Hunter (Patrick Hess), Paul "Mike" Landis (fiancé Kari Hoke), and Mikae Reynolds Gietz.
