ODOMS, DEORA Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and a resident of Albuquerque New Mexico, died Oct. 2, 2013 at the age of 81 . Born in Popularville Mississippi, Aug. 2, 1932, She is survived by James T. Odoms, husband; daughters, Marion Odoms of Lewisville Texas, Mavis Odoms of Fremont California; Son, James I. Odoms and wife, Rosemary Odoms, Flwer Moud Texas: grandchildren, Dana Jones and husband Robert Jones, Katy Texas, Alisha Odoms, The Colony Texas, great grand children Danielle and Ryliegh Jones, Katy Texas; sisters Ruthie Owens, Albuquerque New Mexico, Dorothy Rich , Los Angeles California, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. She was proceed in death by parents, Emmett King and Lena Mae Taylor, Diboll Texas, sisters Queen King, Diboll Texas, Mary Helen Bray, Diboll Texas, Darlene Taylor, Diboll Texas, brother Melvin Taylor, Albuquerque New Mexico, She was a member of Grants Chapel Church, Albuquerque New Mexico, Topps in Albuquerque New Mexico. Deora enjoyed fishing, shopping and being with family. Homegoing celebration will be Thursday, Oct. 10th, 10:00 AM at Grants Chapel Church, 7920 Claremont Ave. N.E. Albuquerque New Mexico 87110 with Dr. John Hill, Pastor. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
