Delores Hutson

Delores Ann Hutson, born July 2, 1945, passed away April 8, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Royal Center, Indiana. She joined her loving husband Paul Hutson through many assignments with the US Air Force. They arrived in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1983.

Dee was a strong advocate for providing children with a Christian education. Dee had received her BS and MS in Education from Ball State University. She put that education to good use by founding a Christian school at Eastern Hills Baptist Church. She was the director of the school for 20 years, until cancer forced her to step down.

A return of cancer in 2018 lingered, and caused her death. But now she is in a better place, in the arms of her Savior.

Dee was proceeded in death by her parents (Marion and Betty Hale), her grandson Brian Hutson, and sister-in-law Jean Nesbitt.

She is survived by her beloved husband Paul, wonderful children Gregory, Stephen and wife Jennifer, ,and Christopher and wife Shellie; Beautiful grandchildren: Aidyn, Maddox, Nikota, Lincoln, and Kaylee; dear brother Jerry and wife Pam Hale; nieces and nephews Mike and wife Dawn Conner, Mark and wife Angel Conner, Julia and husband Bryan Tillema, and Allison and husband James Sells; many close friends that were faithful to help by lending a hand, an encouraging word, plates of food, and most of all prayers.

Everyone who knew Dee loved her, which is evidenced by the many calls, messages, and visits by so many throughout her battle with cancer and even after her passing.
