Known to many as “Momma Marquez” She was the Great Care Taker and a 2nd mother to many. She was the rock of the Marquez family, the Queen of our Hearts, The Original Boss lady, and loved by all those who knew her. She was the ULTIMATE Team mom with all of the sporting events her sons participated in and there was never a kid that she didn’t treat like one of her own. Once her grandchildren arrived, her focus switched to supporting them in all of their activities. Throughout all of her years she welcomed anyone to her home, made sure they were fed and never hesitated to let you know when you were acting like a “donkey.”

What began as frequent visits to Larry’s Drive In and a memorable “tip” to our mother where she was a carhop, evolved to 53 years of marriage to the love of her life, Gabe. Through thick and thin, in good times and bad, deployments abroad, their love never faded. It was that love and commitment that she instilled in all of our hearts that will be passed on for generations.
