Deborah E. Trattel

Deborah E. Trattel a resident of Placitas, NM died Monday, July 2, 2018.  She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Richard J. Estrada; daughter, Arianna Estrada; mother, Martha Trattel; sister, Beth Trattel and husband, Clay Bishop; brother, Andrew Trattel and wife, Keri; niece, Samantha Trattel; and numerous extended relatives and friends.

Deb was preceded in death by her father, George Trattel.  She was born in 1960 in Schenectady, NY and obtained her associates degree in Court Reporting from Alford State University in NY. Deb worked for the court system in Rochester for six years before moving to Albuquerque. Deb began her own Court Reporting Business in 1997, Trattel Court Reporting & Videography. Deb was the consummate professional and was well regarded by everyone who worked with her.  She married Richard in 2001 and together along with Arianna began their love of world travel and adventure. Deb was a Board member of NM Animal Protection and a dedicated lover and protector of animals.  She loved her Dalmatians and was a truly loving and caring person. More than anything she was very proud of her daughter, Arianna, an A-Student and Club Soccer standout. She was a member of Las Placitas Presbyterian Church.  Deb was a devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Deb will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Las Placitas Presbyterian Church in Placitas.  Interment will follow at San Antonio De Las Huertas Land Grant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in Deb’s name to Animal Protection of New Mexico, 301 Gold Ave SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
