David Paul Oller, 66, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2016 after a very long battle with liver disease. He was born on August 30, 1949 to Paul and Joyce Oller in Oklahoma City, OK. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973. After working many years at his business Oller Heating and Air Conditioning, he moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1990. After retiring he enjoyed writing poetry, fly fishing, swimming, bicycling and sailing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his precious, granddaughter, Ariya Oller. He is survived by his longtime companion, Rosie Benavidez of Albuquerque; his sons, Jeremy Oller and wife, Laura of Edmund, OK and Jason Oller and wife, Erinn of Jenks, OK; stepson, Lance Gomez of Bradenton, FL; and stepdaughter, Regina Enciso of Pueblo, CO. His surviving brothers are Frank Oller of Playa del Carmen, Mexico, Ronald Oller of Oklahoma City and Daniel Oller of Tega Cay, SC. His surviving grandchildren are Aubrey, Jacob, Samuel, and Justice.
A private service will be held for family and close friends. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
