It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of David Keith Irwin, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on Sunday, March 25, 1962, David lived a life defined by love, loyalty, and kindness, leaving a lasting legacy with everyone he touched.
David proudly served in the Navy, where he forged lifelong friendships and was known for his courage, dedication, and camaraderie. His time in service built bonds that became family, and he remained a devoted friend to his fellow servicemen and women throughout his life.
David was a man who found joy in the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, and the mountains, and his garden was his sanctuary. His connection to nature was a profound part of his spirit, and he shared his love of the outdoors with those around him. He was also a true dog lover, finding companionship and comfort in his loyal furry friends.
David was a friend to all, always eager to lend a hand and brighten the lives of those around him. His warmth, humor, and generous heart touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be remembered as a man who gave freely and deeply, leaving an irreplaceable space in the lives of many.
David was preceded in death by his father, Jack; and his nephew, Carter. He is survived by his loving wife, Marla Clayton-Irwin; his mother, Carol; his sister Jackie Geerts and her husband, Mark; his brother Daniel and his wife, Liz; his sister Denise Irwin-Podlesny and her husband, Ted, aunt, Sharon Nicholson, as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will all hold his memory close.
David's life was a gift, one filled with love, laughter, and generosity. His legacy will live on in his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all.
