David L. Geddie

David L. Geddie, age 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Monday, March 14, 2016. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Nell; children, Clyde Geddie and wife, Gloria, Mary Joyce Wasson and husband, Wendel "Buddy", John Geddie and wife, Brenda, and Susan Stanton, all of Albuquerque; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Adell Lewis of Albuquerque, Mary Macrander and husband, Jim of Sunnyvale, CA; and numerous other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Julia M. Geddie; sisters, Lucille White,Maybelle Lewis, and Hazel Geddie; and brother, Loomis Geddie. He was born in 1924 in Deatsville, AL and after moving to Albuquerque worked for Circle K Stores for several years before retiring and opening Mama Nells Daycare with his wife, in their home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit Saturday, March 19, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to Service at 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with La Ron Branson and Vaughn Ellingson officiating. A Reception will follow at FRENCH-Lomas Reception Center with interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in David's name to the charity of your choice.
