David A. Fike, 66, of Albuquerque, NM - son, brother, husband, uncle, and father, died in his home Tuesday, April 5, 2016, surrounded by his biggest fans. David endured a battle with advanced pancreatic cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Paul H. Fike and sister, Phyllis Ann.
David is survived by his wife, Jan D. Fike; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Kim; mother, Ella Mae Fike; sister and brother-in-law, Jo Ellen and Rick Bowman. Additionally, nephews, Aaron and Michael Bowman; a sister-in-law, Joanne Lam; two brothers-in-law, Greg Lam and Tony DeRossi; and two nieces, Kristen Brandt and Heather Rittiner. David is also survived by a close knit and amazing group of friends from life and also from work with Wendy's spanning 35 years.
The family gathered after his passing and discussed what one word came to mind when thinking of Dave. He is remembered and will continue to be known for his loving nature, gentle manner, his observant care, and adventurous spirit. Ultimately, his full life is remembered for the glory and solid foundation he provided for so many.
The family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation for the excellent care and concern received from Hospice de la Luz and coordinator, Cori.

Friends may gather for a visitation Friday, April 15, 2016, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., also at FRENCH - Lomas. A Celebration of Life will follow on the patio at The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, 2401 12th Street, NW, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
