David Dean

DAVID A. DEANAge 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1982, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Chiyome Kudo of Sendai Japan; his sons, William and Allyn; his grandchildren, Allyssa and Dylan; his brothers and sister, Robert Dean, Gary Dean, and Nancy Jakiela. Raised in Brandon, VT, he left life on the farm to join the military in 1956, served in Vietnam and retired from the Air Force in 1982. After retirement he worked in Saudi Arabia for several years and then came back to New Mexico to manage apartments for the rest of his career. Dave was a man of great enthusiasm and character, those who knew him always have a great Dave story to tell. Always a motorcycle enthusiast he spent his life racing, restoring and collecting them. Riding across country was one of his great joys. A viewing and remembrance will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, 3:00 p.m., at French - Lomas Chapel.
