On the evening of July 6, 2016, David Joseph Dailey Senior passed away of natural causes. David was 100 years old at the time of his passing. He was born in Blue Mound, KS on August 30, 1915 to Joseph and Malissa Dailey. David saw many changes, he learned to drive a horse and buggy before an automobile. David worked as a Trolley Conductor in Kansas and as the transportation industry evolved he moved to California to become a Bus Driver, where he worked under Walt Disney. He later owned his own business as a locksmith and was known as the best locksmith in the Hi-Desert. When he retired he moved to Albuquerque, NM with his son David H. Dailey. He dedicated his life to God and encouraged his children to do the same. David served as a Sunday school teacher, usher, and friend to all, often giving rides to people that could not make it to church on their own.
He leaves his wife, Noria; daughter in law, Cathy; daughter, Briceida and her husband, Gabriel; sons, Conrad and Mario; grandchildren, David II, Sabrina, Mario, Marlene, Mariah, and Conrad; and great-grandchildren, Sheree and Shandy. He is preceded in death by his son, David H. Dailey; and former wife, Vella Dailey. He will be missed by all for his love and candor.
The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Family Church, 6101 Paradise Blvd, NW with Visitation to begin at 9:30 a.m. Burial will at Sunset Memorial Cemetery following the service.
