David Chavez

David M. Chavez, age 52, was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on March 19, 2013. He was a resident of Albuquerque since 1978. David was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and he was a true friend to everyone he met. He was known for his kindness and caring manner. He enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, and helping those who needed it most. He is survived by; his mother, Doris Tafoya; father, Christobal Chavez and wife, Julie; brother, Chris Chavez; sister, Ymelda Chavez and her children; sister, Norma Madrid and husband, Larry and their children, all of Las Cruces; sister, Daphnne Balizan and husband, Efraim of Las Vegas, Nevada. David was an uncle to four nephews and one niece. Services will be held on March 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the FRENCH-Lomas Chapel with Pastor George Swanson officiating.
