David Butterfield

BUTTERFIELD, DAVID BRYCEAge 67, was born August 27, 1945 in Lynch, NE to Willis and Hilda (Schollmeyer) Butterfield and passed away November 14, 2012 at the Albuquerque Care Center in Albuquerque NM. He is survived by his sister, Edith Kortus of Omaha NE; nieces, Jacky Jensen of Ft. Calhoun NE and Katie Drab of Strawberry, AZ; and nephews, Mike Butterfield of Girdwood, AK, Dan Gillogly of Omaha, NE, Bruce Butterfield of Broomfield, CO, Phillip Butterfield of O'Neill, NE and Todd Olson of O'Neill NE. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas; sister Eva (Jacky) Olson; and nephews, Pat Butterfield, Lyle Butterfield and Eric Olson. David graduated from Page Nebraska High School. He attended the University of Nebraska and was in the U.S. Army for a number of years beginning January 3, 1969. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Scottville Cemetery in rural Holt County Nebraska. If everyone were as kindhearted as David, the world would be perfect. A friend to all, he opened his heart, his home and wallet to those in need. He will be missed by many.
