David Anthony Barela

David Barela, age 66, the most honest and honorable man you will ever meet, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023.
Dave was known for always putting God and family first and instilled this upon his children as well. He was and will always be the most wonderful, loving, and dedicated father and grandfather. He always gave his 100% and displayed his tremendous work ethic in everything he did. His work was more of an art than a science, and he was the Master of It.
Dave had the heart of a servant and always helped others without expectation of recognition or reward. He loved the United States of America and was proud to serve this great country in the Marine Corps Force Reconnaissance. His true love though was his grandchildren, and his free time was spent doing anything he could to make them laugh.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated partner of 16 years, Linda; his adoring children, Connie and Elliot, and his beautiful grandchildren, Charlie, Mack, Tre, Remi, and Barrett.
He is also survived by his wonderful brothers and sisters, Sophie, Joseph, Joanne, Ralph, Steve, Rosemary, Renee, and Lisa and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Also touching Dave's life was the mother of his children, Beth, whom he respectfully raised them with and maintained a close friendship.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Roque and Sally, and his brothers, Roque and Vincent.
