With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Danny C. Gonzales, a devoted husband, father, son, and grandfather.
Danny passed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 66. Danny was born June 17, 1958 in Albuquerque, NM to Maryann Teegarden and Tony Gonzales (deceased). Danny is survived by his beloved wife Anna and their children, Alicia Curran and husband Curtis, Darlene Lucero and husband Paul, Andrea Rivera and husband Joe, Josiah Gonzales, as well as his 14 grandchildren, Chastity, Kai, Genaro, Josiah and fiancé Klarissa, Aaliyah, Joey, Analisa, Joleah, Joseph, Nathaniel, Zendaya, Santino, Cannon, Jodiahs, and one great-grandson Josiah (AKA) Handsome.
Danny had many siblings Richard Gonzales and wife Shirley, Cathy Fernandez and husband Ruben, Chris Gonzales, Maria and Gene, Tina Garcia and husband Tommy, Joey Gonzales and wife Stacey, Renee Fernandez, sister-in-law Patricia and Brian, sister-in-law Elaine Apodaca and husband Clarance, parent-in-laws Robert and Anna Aranda as well as many nieces and nephews that he truly loved.
Danny was well known in the community as a little league and high school softball coach, he was not only father to his own four children, but to many children he fostered throughout his 13 years as a foster parent.
He will be remembered for his funny sense of humor, his outgoing personality, his amazing smile, all his funny little quotes.
Danny was a true leader and a respected mentor to many, he was a true die-hard Cowboys fan, he especially enjoyed watching little league world series championship, college softball, Lobo basketball, but mostly he was a #1 fan of any sport his children and grandchildren were playing.
Danny had a special relationship with each of his many grandchildren as well as his nieces and nephews, he had the ability to make everyone he encountered feel welcomed and loved.
