Daniel T. Rice

Daniel T. Rice, born April 27, 1929 passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Sinclair Rice and Helen Gates Fielding; and sister, Evelyn Colpitts of Rayham, MA. He is survived by his wife of over 62 years, Dorothy M. Rice; three children, Helen, Daniel Jr. and Eugene Thomas; grandchildren; and great-grandchild.

Daniel enjoyed the game of football. He played football in Okinawa with the ARMY team. Daniel never hesitated to help others and he gave freely of his time. He always set a standard of excellence in everything he did. His days were spent in dedication to his beloved wife, whom he loved with all his heart.

Rosary will be recited Tuesday, March 27, 2018, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018, 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH – Lomas. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
