Daniel Eric Chavez

Daniel Eric Chavez, 35, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and cousin was called to his resting place on Monday, July 27, 2019.

He entered this world on February 27, 1984 in Hobbs, NM, born to Debbie Chavez. He is survived by his mother, Debbie Chavez Garcia; dad, Andy Garcia; sister, Jessica Houlton; grandparents, John & Sofia Pope; uncles Bob, Mike, and Steve Pope; (preceded in death by uncles, Rick and Don Pope); nieces, Jennelle, Jennessa, Jennica; great nephew, Jordan, Fiancée Alejandra; and many aunts, cousins, and friends.

Eric was a kind and generous man, who impacted many lives. Eric will be forever loved, missed, and in our hearts.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Reception to follow at American Legion Post 99, 540 Louisiana NE, Albuquerque.

A Celebration of Life is also scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2019, 3:00 p.m. at Staybridge Suites North,  5817 Signal Ave., NE, Albuquerque.
