Dan Perea

Dan Perea, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Ramona; his eight children, Renee, Yolanda, Chrissy, Danny, Yvonne, Patricia, Rev. Don Perea and Bernadette; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Gertrude Perea; and three brothers and one sister.

Dan served his country with the US Army, serving in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He was a loving husband and father and was a dedicated provider for his family. He was a hero to his wife and family. His family was the most important thing to Dan and it reflects in their lives.

The family would like to extend their thanks for all the support they received from their family and friends during Dan's illness.

Vigil will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 6:30 p.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming. Friends may visit beginning at 5:30 p.m. Rosary will be recited Thursday, August 17, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery.
