Dan "Sonny" Lewis

Dan "Sonny" Lewis, age 78, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013. He is survived by sisters, Emily L. Pino, and Donna L. Aragon and husband Gilbert; brothers, Arthur Lewis and wife Rebecca, Robert Lewis and wife, Isabel and Rudy Lewis and wife Gloria; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Estella B. Lewis. Sonny (Nino) was a gentle, caring and generous man that loved to strike up a conversation with everyone and anyone. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 13, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover St SW. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, NM Chapter, 9500 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111.
