Dale Orville Stout, age 97, wonderful husband, father and grandfather passed away July 22, 2015. Dale was known for his cheerful, easygoing attitude. He was a good neighbor and never met a stranger. Dale was born in Dallas, TX in 1917. He was in the Civilian Conversation Corps (CCC) during the Great Depression, served in the Marines as bugler and rifleman in Guadalcanal in the Pacific during WWII. Dale moved to NM to work as a weatherman. He became a teacher and taught at Jefferson Jr. High and Eubank Elementary and a counselor at Lincoln Jr. High and Highland High School for almost 30 yrs. His interests included building homes after school and hiking in the canyon. He is survived by his wife, Frances (married 67 years); daughter, Rebecca Coulter and her husband, Robert; grandson, Travis; and three great-granddaughters. Friends may visit Thursday, July 30, 2015, 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
