Dale Allen Noblitt, our “Papa Dale”, born January 27, 1937, passed away May 14, 2024 at the age of 87. A kinder, more unassuming man, you will never know. Dale loved unconditionally, gave generously, and has more than earned his peace and reward. Dale was born in Rifle Colorado. He was a Army Veteran, stationed in Korea in 1959 for two years, and spent four more years stateside in the Reserves. After the Army, he married, raised a family, and served the City of Albuquerque as a Paramedic & Fireman for 27 years. He would later drive an APS school bus for students with special needs. He took a quiet pride in helping others. He spent a lifetime serving something he saw as greater than himself, and asking for very little in return. Dale was artistically talented and creative. He was truly a Renaissance man who could draw, paint, cook, work leather and wood, and dabbled in gunsmithing. He loved a creative challenge and a chance to learn something new. Dale was always ready to patiently teach anyone willing to learn. Family, friends, coworkers or random neighborhood children brought home by his kids, all benefited from his ability to teach and willingness to do so. No one was ever excluded. Holidays were ever an event at the Noblitt house. Dale and Linda, his wife of 57 years, were always a team, whether in life, love or play, their combined efforts and creativity were a delight to experience. Who could forget all the wonderful Halloween costumes, digging up the Thanksgiving turkey from the backyard, or the Goodie Tree at Christmas? These things make up some of the best memories of our childhood. Dale is survived by his two daughters Julie Laree Noblitt- Howell, & Laurie Ann Noblitt Clough, grandchildren Cassandra Laree Shea Biddle, Douglas Allen Noblitt, Elliott Noblitt, Mary Noblitt, & Roman Morgan Clough, and great grandchild Eli Noblitt. Dale was preceded in death by his wife Linda Laree Noblitt and son Mark Glenn Noblitt. The family would like to invite all who knew and loved Dale to attend his memorial. Come share your memories, tears and laughter with his friends and family .Much of his artwork will be on display along with photos of him throughout his life. Food and beverages will be provided. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a charitable donation in Dale’s name? Animals, wildlife, and support groups for Veterans, Firefighters and Police were his favorites. Let's give him one last chance to serve others. Memorial: The Moose Lodge 2121 Edith Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102 June 24th, 5:00-6:30. Cards can be sent to 1501 Del Monte Tr.
