Criselda Linda Acosta

Criselda Linda Acosta, 59, entered the gates of Heaven on September, 18, 2017. Known to her loved ones as, Linda, beloved mother, adored friend, and cherished sister, was a blessing to every soul she touched even in slight. She entered this world on September 10, 1958 in Oakland, CA, born to Annie Rodriguez and Julian Valdez.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Acosta, Dennis Valdez, Julian Padilla, and Jesse Verduzco; and daughters, Christina Maynard, Monica Acosta, Janet Verduzco and Regina Verduzco.
Aside from her infectiously positive demeanor driven by love, she is and was the glue that gave her family strength, and kept them together. Linda was known to make even a person in passing feel like family, and epitomized hard-work and dedication. Linda was proof that even the most difficult life-obstacles were capable of defeat, and she did so gracefully.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017, at 5:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University, with a visitation one hour prior.
