Craig Holter

Craig C. Holter of Albuquerque, NM unexpectedly passed away in his home on September 20, 2018 at the age of 47. He was born in La Crosse, WI on April 28, 1971. Craig moved from Wisconsin to New Mexico in 2007 and was employed by Garcia Auto Group where he worked in their parts department for several dealerships - Saab, Kia and most recently Infiniti where he was promoted and held the position of Parts Manager. Prior to moving to Albuquerque, he was employed by Stage Pro as a Lighting Technician for numerous concerts and entertainment events. Craig graduated from Elk Mound High School in 1989 and joined the Wisconsin Army National Guard (949th Engineer Company Chippewa Falls, WI) after high school. He also attended Chippewa Valley Technical College in WI.

Craig was an extremely passionate and loyal employee who loved anything and everything that had to do with automobiles. He took great pride in his numerous accomplishments throughout his 11 year career with Garcia Auto Group - especially when he was promoted to his current role as the Infiniti Parts Manager. In recognition of Craig's outstanding performance with Garcia, he received four performance excellence awards. If it had four wheels, you could be assured that Craig was going to take an interest as demonstrated by his love of joining his friends for rides in the desert on his four wheeler. While living in Wisconsin, Craig also loved to ski, fish, deer hunt and hit "fresh powder" with his snowmobile---and you can't live in WI without being a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan!

Craig was a kind and warm spirit and possessed a great sense of humor. He thoroughly enjoyed his Garcia co-workers and their friendship. He loved kids and will be deeply missed by all who returned his love to him.

Craig was survived by his parents, Gordon Holter (Barbara) of Scottsdale, AZ and Nancy (Gordon) Lilly (Roger) of Duluth, MN, half-brother and sister, Nathan and Meghan Holter, and step-sisters, Kim Lilly Robison (Stuart) and Christine Lilly Fairbanks (Steve); aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, September 28, 2018, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming in Albuquerque.
