Craig Higgins, age 63, Father, Grandfather, and Great-grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on Friday, July 3, 2020. He entered this world on Saturday, March 16, 1957 in Sherman, TX, born to Andrew and Colleen Higgins.He attended high school in Dennison Texas and loved playing football all throughout his high school years. He was a home town star known to excel in his different positions such as linebacker, tight end, and kicker. He proudly served his Country in the Coast Guard and was honorably discharged on Thursday, May 24, 1979. He was an avid sports fan especially when it came to the Dallas Cowboys, never missing a game. He was known as a free sprit who loved riding his Harley. He enjoyed long rides and relaxing on the weekends at his Cabin. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time camping in Trementina NM, fishing, and bow hunting. Christmas was a special Holiday for the family. He enjoyed decorating his home and was known as the Griswald of Brenda Rd. Although a big burley man, he had a tender heart. He loved his family dearly and was always interested in what his children and grandchildren were doing. Dad had beautiful green eyes and rosy cheeks which we all will miss dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Colleen Higgins; beloved wife, Margaret Higgins; and brother, Barry. He is survived by his son, Matthew Higgins and Jennifer Higgins; daughter, Laura Laskar and husband Nick Laskar; son, Keith Higgins; sister, Judy Rasco, grandchildren, Derrick Garcia, Alexis Whatley, Mya Higgins, and Nadia Gauthier; great-grandchildren, Brayden Garcia, Olivia Pacheco-Higgins, Ira Manuelito;  his beloved dog Shiloh as well as many other loving family members and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. A private interment will be held at a later time at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe NM.
