Craig Cuthbert

Craig Cuthbert, devoted father, husband, brother, son, coach and friend passed away August 21, 2015. He was the proud father of two beautiful children whom he loved and adored. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska, March 22, 1969. He was raised in Albuquerque. Craig graduated from Eldorado High School where he was an outstanding baseball player. He went on to pitch for the University of New Mexico Lobos baseball team. Craig graduated from UNM with a degree in Criminal Justice. He worked for State Farm Insurance for more than 20 years, and excelled in his career. His passion was his family and coaching kids in a variety of sports. He grew up on the baseball fields of Roadrunner Little League where he loved coaching and impacting the lives of so many children in New Mexico. His family wants his legacy to be remembered as someone who loved his community, his family, and his life. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kristi; and his children, Lindsey and Jake - his children meant the world to him. Craig is also survived by his parents, Gil and Sandi Cuthbert; his sister, Lesa and husband Jeff Swisher, nephew Alex, niece Lauren; and his sister, Karen Cuthbert and nephew Lane; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Steve and Carol House; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Shawn and Kathy House and nephews Andrew and Cobi and niece Emily. Cremation and burial have taken place. In lieu of flowers, his family is asking memorial donations be made to the Roadrunner Little League for less fortunate children in Craig's name, 10700 Lagrima de Oro NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111 or any Wells Fargo Bank to "Cuthbert Kids" Fund.
