It is with great sadness that the family of Corrine Gutierrez announces that she passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the age of 90.
Corrine was born in Tucumcari, NM on November 2, 1927 as the eldest of twelve children to Donaciana and Francisco R. Martinez. She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 73 years John N. Gutierrez; her sisters, Roberta, LuEllen, and Marquita; her brothers, Gilbert and Leroy; her children, Lita (Bruce) James, Bernardo, and Mario (Roberta); her six grandchildren, Donna, Lisa, John Ray, Niko, Victoria, and Mariano; her ten great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. Corrine was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Frank and Henry, her sisters, Stella, Carmen and Debbie; and her son, George.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 3424 4th St. NW.
