It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Corina María Sierra, who left us peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the age of 87. She passed away at home, surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Corina is survived by her devoted children, Charles Barela, Angelina Baca, and Yolanda Crickard; her cherished grandchildren, Miles Crickard, Ivana Crickard, Joe Lewis, and Anthony Baca-Sandoval; her sons-in-law, Anthony Baca and Paul Crickard; her brother, Robert Sanchez and wife, Genevieve; and numerous dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Sierra; her parents, Telesfor and Higinia Sanchez; her sisters, Angelina Sanchez and Rose Apodaca; and her brothers, Antonio, Guillermo, and Jesus Sanchez.
Corina was many things to many people, but above all, she was Mom - the heart and soul of our family. She was a remarkable matriarch, whose love, warmth, and unwavering support brought joy to all who knew her. Her presence filled our lives with laughter and light, and her legacy of love will remain in our hearts forever.
We will forever cherish the memories of the love and care she gave us. Rest in peace, Mama - we will love you always.
