Constance Louise Lyon

CONSTANCE "CONNIE" THURMAN, age 79, passed away on February 26, 2013. She successfully battled breast cancer and ultimately died from Pulmonary Fibrosis. Connie flourished in her 30 years spent as a real estate broker and small business owner. She had a passion for square dancing, traveling, camping, bridge, other social activities and seeing family through life's tribulations. Connie was strong in her faith and love for the Lord, regularly attending services with her husband Don at Calvary Chapel. She was preceded in death by her daughters Cindy Thurman and Diana Pilegrene. She is survived by her adoring husband of 25 years, Don Lyon; sister Janet Hull; niece Sharon Bammert; four grandchildren Brian Pilegrene, Amani Caldwell, Jason Wasielewski, Vanessa Wasielewski, and many other relatives. Services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque located at 4001 Osuna Rd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Connection Ministry at Calvary Chapel.
